Although Oats & Quinoa are grown vastly in India, it is highly expensive since it has been endorsed as healthy super food.
Let's not forget our Indian Millets. They are now called as super foods.
Barley, has similar nutrient composition as that of oats & Rajgeera (Amaranth seeds) is comparable to quinoa.
They are extremely reasonable & can be added to our diet. Other millets like Bajra, Jowar, Kuttu (buckwheat), Broken wheat, Teff millet, Foxtail millet are various other healthy super foods that can easily be incorporated in our daily meals.
There is life beyond wheat & rice. Let's explore these millets.
