Chocolate Fudge

Ever wondered, a chocolate fudge to be high in protein, & rich as anti-inflammatory sweet

A perfect snack during child's party.

A sweet made from Skim Milk Powder, home-made mawa.



Ingredients:

Ghee, 2 tsp

Skim Milk Powder, 1 cup

Skim Milk, 1 cup

Milkmaid,1 tin

Chocolate slab, chopped, 1 1/2 packet ( I used Morde's chocolate slab)

Walnut, 350 gm, blenderised in powdered form


Method:


To make Instant Mawa

  • Heat a pan, add 2 tsp Ghee, 1 cup Skim Milk & stir it for 2 to 3 minutes

  • Add 1 cup Skim Milk Powder, & stir. Cook till it forms like a dough

  • Mawa is ready. Remove from the pan. Cool it & crumble it with hands or using grater



To make fudge

  • In a non stick pan, on low flame, add chopped chocolate pieces & allow it to melt.

  • Add Milkmaid, & keep stirring.

  • To this add, powdered walnuts & crumbled mawa & stir it to mix & combine it well.

  • Keep cooking it on low flame until it combines & thickens. The fudge is ready.

  • Apply a thin layer of ghee on the mould, & pour the ready fudge. Allow it to set overnight or for 8 to 10 hours at room temperature.

  • Cut it into desired shape & store it in air tight container.

  • Enjoy the high protein omega 3 rich chocolate
