Improve Immunity by enhancing Gut health

Updated: Sep 6, 2020

What if i told you that more than 70% of your immunity depends on your gut health

Poor gut health reduces immunity

Do you suffer from acidity? gas? bloating? flatulence? heartburn? chest pain? constipation? stomach grumbling?

If you have answered yes for any one or more than that, your Immunity is at stake.

You need to work on on your digestive system

How is gut responsible for your immunity?

Our intestine has a set of good bacterias, called as probiotics. These bacterias thrive on fibre to grow and multiply, and undergo a process known as fermentation. The by-products of this process maintains the mucosa (first lining of intestine). This mucosa has many immune cells like Lymphocytes that help them grow & multiply.

If you don't eat fibre , these bacterias wont survive and in turn reduce the health of mucosa as immune cells wont be able to multiply.

So fibre is indirectly responsible for your Immunity
