Italian Capsicum

Protein stuffed capsicum in Italian flavours


Ingredients

For filling;

Panner, 40 gm

Cheese, 30 gm

Grated Carrot, 1 med size

Boiled raw banana, 1/2 (optional)

Red chilli flakes & Italian herbs, 1 tsp

Salt & Black pepper powder, for taste

Olives, 3 no

Jalapenos, 2 no


Capsicum, 1 no as main dish


Method

* Cut the capsicum into half & remove seeds. In a baking dish, spray oil & place the capsicum upside down & bake it at 200 degree C for 15 mins or until its brown.

* To make filling, mix all the ingredients.

* Once the capsicum is done, cool it down & fill the capsicum with the mixture.

* Top it with little cheese, red chilli flakes, oregano, black pepper powder & dried basil leaves

* Line capsicum on baking tray & bake for 40 mins at 160 degree C.

* Serve hot



Tips:

- If you dont like capsicum, you can also choose tomatoes or other vegetable of your choice.

-You can also add pulses like rajma or sprouts to make it more nutritious.

-You can also add fresh parsley or basil or other herbs too.

-You may add additional spices like garlic, ginger, paste and/or red chilli sauce.
